George Wrightser is a former NFL Tight End. He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars and was a member of the NY Giants.

After his professional football career ended, Wrighster began his broadcasting career. He currently co-hosts weekly shows on Fox Sports Radio. His radio broadcast career began as a host for “The Drive” on The Beast 980 KFWB. His television career started in 2015 when he debuted on Fox Sports 1 as an analyst and opinionist for “Fox Sports Live Countdown” and “Kickoff to Countdown” shows. He has also contributed to college football coverage as an analyst for games on ESPN3 and FS1.

His passion for storytelling and sports is evident in the content he’s developed under the Unafraid Show brand. The Pac-12 Apostles podcast that he co-hosts has become a go-to listen for unfiltered conversations on all things Pac-12 sports.

Wrighster played three years at the University of Oregon before entering the draft while playing for The Ducks he had record-setting seasons in receptions and TD’s at the Tight End position.

He continues to work with the NFLPA – he has worked closely with the organization to provide support for NFL players managing career transitions. As part of the Wounded Warriors Project, George was also a speaker for Marines at Camp Pendleton and U.S. military troops in Germany, Jordan, Turkey, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Italy.
