Jumoke Davis is a multiple Emmy award-winning sports host and reporter. His Emmy and Telly awards were earned during his 13+ year career at Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

Davis is a quintessential multi-platform journalist. His versatility as a broadcaster was as a studio host, reporter for the Wizards, Mystics and Capitals and play-by-play announcer (tennis, college basketball, college football). He also hosted the Wizards pre-game show, American Express Home Court Advantage on MSN. Jumoke was the digital correspondent for the Wizards, sideline reporter for the Mystics broadcasts, and he co-hosted the Wizards podcast – Off the Bench – for six years.

He understands the importance of connecting with fans; he worked with NBA players to develop vlogs, which created an innovative way for the players and fans to engage.

Davis’ on-air career began on Black Entertainment Television as co-host for the award-winning show, Teen Summit. He then went on to produce and direct a range of projects from music videos to newscasts for local networks and PBS.

He earned a B.A. in Media Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. Davis serves on the Executive Council and Board of Governors for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, is a member of National Association of Black Journalists and an active member of the Director’s Guild of America
