Louis Finley is the lead evening news reporter at WTEN in Albany, NY. He joined the team in 2018 after working at KTVO. Finley can be seen weeknights breaking news and covering the latest from the state capitol. His beat included covering New York Mayor Cuomo’s weekly press conference updates on COVID-19.
His on-air skills were honed as an MMJ and fill-in anchor at KTVO-TV. He built relationships in the community which were imperative to his enterprise storytelling and reporting.
Louis is a graduate of Temple University where he studied Journalism. In 2017 he was awarded the NLGJA Excellence in Journalism Student Award. He is also an active member of NABJ and NLGJA.
